Overview of DSMKP capacitor

AC filter capacitor DSMKP (hereinafter referred to as the DSMKP capacitor), is a new generation of reactive compensation products for the wattless power compensation application security and stability . DSMKP adopts  the world advanced manufacturing technology metallized polypropylen film capacitor , uses retardant nitrogen as protective gas capacitors, the metal coating in high vacuum condition (the main component of zinc, aluminum) and edge additional connections or section coating strengthening technology, which plays an important role in inhibition of high current and ensure the capacitor stability, it has excellent self-healing ability. DSMKP capacitor is capable of withstanding surge current up to 300In, can meet the needs of different applications, service life, safety and stability of the requirement of capacitors, especially suitable for the application of complete sets of equipment in a variety of harsh distribution environment of capacitors, filter capacitor and passive harmonic filter etc..

DSMKP capacitors uses N2 as Composite environmental protection gas  instead of liquid, epoxy resin, wax perfusion medium, gas density and pressure are similar, they will not produce pressure. The flame retardant gas properties will not cause file when oil leakage, increase the security greatly on the distribution environment.

  self-healing technology


The DSMKP capacitor has self-healing function, once the voltage breakdown, the metal conductor layer will generate heat, so that evaporation will loss rapidly around the metal conductor breakdown points. the loss of metal conductor is moved in a few microseconds and the breakdown point center under the action of the pressure and pushed to an insulating region, then protect the capacitor from damage due to the power failure, and the capacitors will still function  after the breakdown process and remain intact restored to its normal state.

The internal configuration module DSMKP capacitor includes discharge resistor, capacitor in the power to ensure that  the terminal voltage of the capacitor is reduced below 50V. within 1min after power failure.


 ● cutting pressure safety protection device


If the overvoltage of capacitor cause frequent self-healing failure, will lead the pressure inside the capacitor increase, in order to prevent them from suddenly broken,  a "pressure release structure" must be designed in the cylindrical aluminum tank capacitor, through open pleatedpart to push up the top capacitor, thereby to release the pressure of the. The metal wire and connect the top because at the top of the rise and be broken, which effectively hindered the current flow, prevent the capacitor explosion due to overload or overheat.


  dry technology


The DSMKP capacitor uses N2 composite environmental protection gas as insulation medium, completely solve the problem of oil leakage from capacitor compensation.


  It has two advanced protection systems


· DSMKP capacitor has two protection system, it will give the control signal to cut off the switch when the system running under harmonic, voltage caused by over temperature operation, the capacitor  into the over temperature protection, prohibited the capacitor into the power grid, until the distribution environment restored to acceptable working state to a safe range. In the detuning compensation and tuning filter capacitors and reactors in series, the two protection circuit of the capacitors can be used in series, when a single or a plurality of capacitor resonant point departure leads to failure of the capacitor, the failure of the loop force will quit working state, until the repair is completely input to system, avoid amplification of circuit harmonic current and even cause accident of electric power system collapse.
